1st Grade Wonders Fluency Sentences Assessment & HFW Practice

If you have purchased our packets, you will already have the sentences, but not the last page,so only download the last page. If you are new to the Wonders Reading Program, you will find that week six is a bit different in each unit compared to the previous weeks. During week six the program says to review and assess what has been taught the previous weeks, and celebrate with some cool projects that fit in with the theme of the unit. This has 4-MAT written all over it.  Do I see some older hands raising out there? For you younger folks, that was a program that, when used correctly, met all the learning styles of your students.  (You know, that thing we do all the time because it's our job.) I must admit the program was informative.  I learned why my MOTHER is always saying "What if??"  Anyway, at the end of a teaching unit, it recommended celebrating your learning.  I think most of us do this in some form anyway.  This section is just that, sharing what you know and being able to explain or exhibit what you learned.  It is up to the teacher to decided which kinds of projects you want your students to do.  This particular week may be different for each teacher depending on how your children are progressing, and student's level of skills, so we created just a few things to assist you with your assessment week. Not much is in here really, but it's FREE so you know you have to have it. And for those like me, you like having all your ducks in a row, together in a notebook, file, or folder.  So with one printing you have the set.
