Farmer Duck - Book Extension

We just read Farmer Duck by Martin Waddel.  It's about a lazy farmer that spends all day in bed, eating chocolate and reading the newspaper. (sounds like a pretty good life, huh)  The farmer has his duck do all the work on the farm.  Duck couldn't take it anymore and broke down.  The other farm animals got together with Duck to hatch a plan.  Your students will love the story as well as the characters.
